As others have said, there are several reasons I am not posting as frequently lately: busier than usual work wise, doing things outside when the weather is nice, haven't bought many toys/figures in awhile, etc.

Even when I do visit and read threads, I admit I don't always post a repsonse. BUT, it's usually because I either have no opinion (and don't want to post just to post), or don't feel knowledgeable about the topic (for example, the comic quiz thread - I have almost ZERO knowledge of comics). I do try to respond to any thread I read that I do have an opinion about, and even "rescue" threads from page 2 on occasion in order to do so! [img]wink.gif[/img]

Semi-random thought: someone brought up the invisible feature on the board... I don't know why that would be considered a problem or make a difference if it wasn't there. I use it very often because when I sign on I just leave the computer signed onto the board for hours, if not days [img]redface.gif[/img] , at a time. When I do that, I use invisible because I wouldn't want someone to see my name up there and think it must mean I am actively on the board, then get pissed if they posted a thread directed to me, sent me a PM/IM, etc and I didn't respond.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I happen to agree with those gentlemen. I have no problem whatsoever with serious discussion and debate (I am an attorney for god's sake! [img]wink.gif[/img] ), but the problem IMO is that on message boards what most people consider "debate" is really just sh!t stirring and name calling. And that stuff got really bad around election time. [img]frown.gif[/img]

On the other hand, there have been some great threads on this board, and there are some very intelligent people here who can and do share their thoughts and opinions in an adult manner. Unfortunately, things too often seem to spiral out of control when anything "heavy" gets going. [img]confused.gif[/img]

I'm all for continuing to try though. [img]smile.gif[/img]
